4-Nitrooxybutyl 2-(3-Fluoro-4-Phenylphenyl)Propanoate is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has been found to be effective in the treatment of inflammatory bowel disease. It inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines and has been shown to have an effect on cell factor, neuronal death, and prognosis in vitro assays. 4-Nitrooxybutyl 2-(3-Fluoro-4-Phenylphenyl)Propanoate is also used as a topical cream for the treatment of skin cancer and can be used as an analgesic or antipyretic agent. In addition, this drug has been found to have beneficial effects on detrusor muscle function, which is a physiological process that helps maintain bladder tone.
