Descrizione

9-Oxo-10(9H)-acridineacetic acid is an anti-viral drug that belongs to the class of acridone derivatives. It has been shown to have a redox potential of -0.15 V, which is indicative of its oxidizing properties. 9-Oxo-10(9H)-acridineacetic acid can be used as an antiviral agent against human pathogens such as HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. This drug also has activity index values of 5.6x104 and 10x105 in terms of the ability to inhibit viral polymerase chain reaction (PCR) amplification and virus infection respectively.
