Informazioni sul prodotto
- Oxazole-5-Carboxylic Acid Hydrazide
Oxazole-5-carboxylic acid hydrazide (OCAH) is a neurotoxic agent that inhibits the mitotic spindle assembly and tubulin polymerization. It is used to treat cancer and has been shown to inhibit the growth of a number of human tumor cell lines, including neuroblastoma and glioblastoma cells. OCAH has also been shown to be toxic at high doses in animals, which may be due to its ability to inhibit nerve growth factor. Symptoms of OCAH toxicity include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, fatigue, seizures, confusion, hallucinations, coma, muscle weakness and twitching.
