Descrizione

4-(Piperidin-4-yl)morpholine is a small molecule with anticancer activity. It inhibits the splicing of pre-mRNA and has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth in vitro. This compound also has an anti-inflammatory effect, which may be due to its ability to inhibit proinflammatory cytokines. 4-(Piperidin-4-yl)morpholine also inhibits lipid synthesis, making it a potential drug for the treatment of hyperlipidemia. The anticancer activity of this compound is most likely due to its inhibition of kinases. This small molecule binds reversibly to ATP binding sites on various kinases, preventing them from phosphorylating their substrates.
