N-Propylhydrazineoxalate is an organic compound that has been shown to have a variety of therapeutic effects. It is used as a cytoprotective agent in the treatment of congestive heart failure and inflammatory bowel disease. This compound also has antibacterial properties and has been shown to produce infarction in rats, which may be due to its ability to inhibit tyrosine kinase activity. N-Propylhydrazineoxalate inhibits the biosynthesis of oxadiazole, which is a precursor for the production of autoantibodies associated with autoimmune diseases such as cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.
