Descrizione

Propineb is a sodium salt of para-chloroaniline, which is a chemical pesticide. It acts as a synergistic agent in the nutrient solution. Propineb has been shown to be non-genotoxic and non-mutagenic in toxicity studies. This chemical can be used as an analytical method to detect the presence of propineb in food, water, or soil samples. Propineb has been shown to have genotoxic effects on cell nuclei and may cause genotoxicity in humans when ingested orally or dermally. Histological analysis revealed that propineb had no effect on the liver, kidney, spleen, or heart tissues of rats after oral administration for 28 days.
