6-(Phenylamino)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4(1H,3H)-dithione is a polymerization inhibitor that is used in the manufacture of polymers and plastics. It is a bifunctional compound that reacts with hydroxyl groups and has been shown to have thermal stability up to 200°C. This product is generally used in the production of polyurethane elastomers and other materials where thermal stability is required. 6-(Phenylamino)-1,3,5-triazine-2,4(1H,3H)-dithione may be used as an additive in thermally sensitive products such as thermoplastics or thermosetting resins.
