Informazioni sul prodotto
- 4-(Phenylcarbonylmethyl)pyrimidine
- 1-Phenyl-2-(pyrimidin-4-yl)ethanone
- Ethanone, 1-phenyl-2-(4-pyrimidinyl)-
1-Phenyl-2-(4-pyrimidinyl)ethanone is a benzenoid that has been used in the synthesis of combinatorial libraries. It undergoes reductive amination with aniline to form 1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline, which is then reduced to 1-phenyl-1,2-dihydroquinoline. It can be used as a starting material for other syntheses including the synthesis of 2-(4-pyridinyl)-1H-benzimidazole and 2-(4-pyridinyl)-1H-[1]benzopyran.
