Informazioni sul prodotto
Prothioconazole is a fungicide that has been shown to have significant antifungal activity against plant diseases caused by fungi in the soil, such as foot rot and leaf spot. Prothioconazole is a prodrug that is metabolized to its active form, manganese chloride, by hydrolysis. Prothioconazole has an inhibitory effect on certain fungi through the inhibition of fungal cytochrome P450 enzymes. It also inhibits water molecule formation and magnesium salt uptake. Prothioconazole can be applied as a granule or liquid formulation for use on fruit trees. The effective dose range is 1-2 g/L of water or 0.5-1 kg/ha.
