Potassium tetrachloropalladate(II) is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of complexes with metals. It can be used as an oxidant in organic synthesis and as a catalyst for coupling reactions. Potassium tetrachloropalladate(II) is stable in water and reacts with sodium citrate to form stable complexes with nitrogen atoms. These complexes react with spermidine trihydrochloride and zirconium oxide to form products that contain cationsic surfactants, which are positively charged molecules. The kinetic data for this reaction mechanism was found using a particle experiment.
