Descrizione:
Pentafluorophenyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (PFPT) is an organic compound with the formula CF3SO2CF2O. It is a colorless liquid that is insoluble in water. PFPT contains alkoxycarbonyl, ether, and hetero groups on the same molecule. It has been used in oxidation reactions of alkali metal compounds and as a catalyst for aliphatic hydrocarbon polymerization. It also can be used to produce vinylene, which is an important building block for polymers.
