The Z-Pro-OL is a catalytic organocatalyst that can be used to synthesize complex molecules with high levels of stereoselectivity. This catalyst is based on a chiral, non-racemic allylinium ion and can be used in the synthesis of polycyclic molecules by allylation. The Z-Pro-OL has been shown to provide a number of advantages over traditional strategies for the synthesis of polycyclic molecules, including improved yields and shorter reaction times. This catalyst also has been shown to be highly efficient in the synthesis of chloride compounds with high levels of stereoselectivity.
