8-Quinolineboronic acid pinacol ester is an efficient iridium catalyst that can be used to synthesize quinoline derivatives. This ligand binds to the active site of the corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor, inhibiting its function. 8-Quinolineboronic acid pinacol ester has been shown to be an efficient and selective ligand for the corticotropin-releasing hormone receptor, which is a G protein coupled receptor. It is also a potent antagonist of this receptor.
