Informazioni sul prodotto
- 5-Quinoxalinecarboxylic Acid
- Acide 5-quinoxalinecarboxylique
Quinoxaline-5-carboxylic acid is a synthetic allosteric inhibitor that inhibits the growth of bacteria. It binds to the active site of bacterial DNA polymerase, preventing the synthesis of new DNA. Quinoxaline-5-carboxylic acid has been shown to inhibit the activity of both human and animal cells in culture. This compound also inhibits the replication of viruses and has been shown to be effective against hepatitis B virus replication in cell culture. Furthermore, quinoxaline-5-carboxylic acid is an effective antibacterial agent, inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli and other bacteria in vitro. In addition, this compound has anti-cancer effects by inhibiting NS5B polymerase in humans and animal cells in culture.br>br>
