Informazioni sul prodotto
- Sodium 2-Oxopropanoate
- Pyruvic-3-13C acid sodium salt
Sodium pyruvate-3-13C is a deuterium labeled form of pyruvic acid and can be used as a signal in the study of metabolic processes. It is labeled with deuterium at the 3 position and 13C at the carbon adjacent to the carboxyl group. The labeling is optimized for specific purposes, such as cell culture studies and isotopomer analysis. Sodium pyruvate-3-13C can be used to measure the kinetic parameters of metabolic reactions by following the conversion of 13CO2 into 13CH4. The protonated form of sodium pyruvate-3-13C is also useful for measuring pH changes in cells.
