Informazioni sul prodotto
- Hexanoic acid, 3-amino-5-methyl-, (3S)-
- L-Beta-Homoleucine
- (S)-3-Amino-5-methyl-hexanoic acid
(S)-3-Amino-5-methylhexanoic acid is a catalyst for the formation of lamellar phases. It is also an important biomolecule in the synthesis of polylactide, polyglycolide, and poly(epsilon-caprolactone). 3-Amino-5-methylhexanoic acid is chiral at carbon C2 and has been shown to form amyloid fibrils. It also catalyzes the alkylation of agrobacterium tumefaciens with ethylene oxide to form 3-(2,6-dichlorophenoxy)propionic acid (2,6-DCP). This compound inhibits dihydropyrimidinase, an enzyme that catalyses the conversion of pyrimidine nucleotides into uracil. 3-Amino-5-methylhexanoic acid also has supramolecular properties and can be used in the construction of nan
