Informazioni sul prodotto
Sibiricaxanthone B is a product of the reaction of sibiric acid and 2-phenylbenzaldehyde. It has been shown to possess tranquilizing, anticonvulsant, and antidepressant properties in animal models. Sibiricaxanthone B has also been found to be effective in treating Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases. Sibiricaxanthone B is detected by mass spectrometry and it is metabolized in the liver through a number of metabolic transformations, including hydroxylation by cytochrome P450 enzymes, oxidation by cytochrome P450 enzymes, or conjugation with glucuronic acid. The metabolism of this compound results in the formation of metabolites that are excreted through urine.
