Informazioni sul prodotto
Schisandrone is a natural drug extracted from the fruit of Schisandra chinensis. It is used as a medicine in traditional Chinese medicine for treatment of influenza, common cold and other respiratory diseases. Schisandrone has been shown to inhibit the replication of influenza virus in lung fibroblasts. The compound also inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines, such as tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interleukin-1 β (IL-1β), which are induced by viruses. In animal experiments, schisandrone has been shown to have anti-tumor effects and can be used to treat liver cancer or liver disease caused by viruses. In addition, schisandrone has been shown to have antiviral effects against human hepatitis B virus and human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1).
