Trisodium Hexafluoroaluminate is a chemical substance that is used in the production of zirconium oxide. It has a reactive nature and can react with fatty acids to form soaps. Trisodium Hexafluoroaluminate reacts with hydrochloric acid to form hydrogen gas, which can be used for the production of fluorine. Trisodium Hexafluoroaluminate reacts with inorganic acids such as phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid to form compounds containing aluminium, chlorine, sodium and potassium ions. This chemical also reacts with calcium carbonate and aluminium to form calcium fluoride or aluminium fluoride.
