Informazioni sul prodotto
- Pyridine, 2,3,4-trichloro-
2,3,4-Trichloropyridine is a chemical compound that is used in the production of acrylonitrile. It reacts with hydrochloric acid and sodium hydroxide solution to form hydrogen chloride and sodium chloride. The reaction solution is heated at 100°C for 10 hours to produce acrylonitrile. 2,3,4-Trichloropyridine is not soluble in water but can be removed by treating wastewater with a mixture of sodium carbonate and acrylonitrile. This reaction produces trifluoroacetic acid as well as 2,3,4-trichloropyridine. Trifluoroacetic acid can be recycled while 2,3,4-trichloropyridine can be disposed of safely.
