1,3,5-Tris(2,3-dibromopropyl) isocyanurate (TDIBC) is a chemical substance that has been shown to be chemically stable at high temperatures. It is used as an additive in wastewater treatment. TDIBC reacts with luminol luminescence to produce an intense blue color. TDIBC binds to the hydroxyl group of proteins and inhibits the activity of protein kinase C. TDIBC has been shown to be effective for the treatment of bladder cancer cells when administered intravenously by injection or intravesically by instillation.
