Descrizione:
4,5,6,7-Tetrabromo-1H-benzotriazole (TBBA) is an inhibitor of the receptor activity that is used to treat infectious diseases. It also inhibits cell factor and signal pathways that lead to the transfer of information from one cell to another. TBBA has been shown to have inhibitory properties against solid tumours in vitro. The drug binds to dna with high affinity and blocks the transcriptional activation of genes by preventing access to DNA by other proteins. This compound has been found to be effective against breast cancer cells resistant to other drugs. TBBA also inhibits kinase activity in vitro, which may contribute to its anti-cancer properties.
