Descrizione

D-threo-droxidopa is an amino acid that is found in the human body. It is a prodrug for dopamine, which is converted to dopamine through enzymatic hydrolysis by dopamine β-hydroxylase. D-threo-droxidopa can be administered orally and has been shown to increase blood pressure in patients with hypotension due to inadequate renal function.
