3-(Triethylammonium)propyl methanthiosulfonate bromide is a quaternary ammonium compound that is used in the treatment of glaucoma. It is a potent, reversible inhibitor of cyclic nucleotide-gated channels (CNG). 3-(Triethylammonium)propyl methanthiosulfonate bromide acts by binding to the α subunit of CNG channels and blocking the ion channel.
