Descrizione

α-Terpineol is a monoterpene that is found in the essential oils of certain plants, such as melaleuca alternifolia. α-Terpineol is one of the major monoterpenes present in eucalyptus oil and has shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. α-Terpineol has been shown to induce cell lysis and DNA fragmentation in human macrophages at low concentrations. α-Terpineol also induces genotoxic effects when exposed to laser ablation and water vapor.
