Descrizione:
Tetrahydrofurfurylamine is an amide that can be used as a chiral building block for asymmetric synthesis. The UV absorption of this compound is sensitive to the presence of metal cations, such as copper and silver. Tetrahydrofurfurylamine has been shown to react with perchlorates, biphenyl, and other amines to form new compounds in high yields. Tetrahydrofurfurylamine has been used as a fluorophore and chemosensor in the past.
