Informazioni sul prodotto
Tributylsilane is a reactive compound that is used in organic synthesis. The compound has a structural formula of C(CH) (SiH). The molecular weight of tributylsilane is 151.14 g/mol and the melting point is -108 °C. Tributylsilane is produced by reacting three equivalents of trimethylsilane with one equivalent of hydrogen chloride gas. This reaction can be carried out in a reaction vessel or on a chromatographic column. Tributylsilane reacts readily with metacrylate esters to produce methacrylates and the functional groups include inorganic, particle, and reactive site. It can also be used as an intermediate for making other compounds such as polymers, dyes, and pharmaceuticals.
Tributylsilane can be prepared by reacting trimethylsilane with hydrogen chloride gas:
3 CH3SiH + 1 Cl2
