- Thiazolamine,4-hydrochloride
Thiazol-4-amine hydrochloride is a structural compound that is used as an acylation and photoelectric chemical. It has been used to synthesize isoindigo, which is a dyes with an intense blue color. Thiazole has a cyclic structure with 4 carbon atoms, 3 nitrogens and 1 oxygen atom. The formula of the compound is C6H5N3Cl. Hydrolysis of thiazole releases ammonia gas and water. Alkylation of thiazole produces chloroethane, which is a highly flammable liquid that can be used in the production of other compounds. Chlorination of thiazole produces trichloromethane, which can be used in the production of other compounds such as vinyl chloride and polyvinyl chloride (PVC).
