Informazioni sul prodotto
Tetraphenylphosphonium tetraphenylborate (TPTB) is a boron-containing molecule that has been used in the synthesis of n-dimethyl formamide. TPTB is soluble in organic solvents, such as chloroform and acetone, but not in water. TPTB has an optical absorption band at around 675 nm and also exhibits fluorescence emission at around 710 nm. The thermal expansion coefficient of TPTB is 10.7x10-6/°C at 25°C and 0.1 MPa, with a viscosity of 1 cP at 25 °C. The kinetic data for the reaction between TPTB and hydrogen fluoride are given below:
Rate = k[H][TPTB]
The rate constants for this reaction are 2.8x10^2 M^(-1)s^(-1).
