4-[(4-Trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]phenol is a compound that belongs to the class of monomers. It has been shown to have anti-leishmanial activity and is being investigated in the treatment of neuroinflammation and antibacterial properties. The FT-IR spectroscopy shows that 4-[(4-trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]phenol is a molecule with an asymmetric carbon atom, which can be observed from the peaks at 1730 cm-1 and 1580 cm-1. 4-[(4-Trifluoromethyl)phenoxy]phenol can be used as a photoelectron acceptor or electron donor because of its redox potential, which makes it an excellent candidate for optical devices. This compound also has inhibition activities against enzymes such as aminopeptidase, phosphatase, and protease.
