Descrizione:
Azo blue is a reactive dye that reacts with amines to form dyes. It is used as a dye in injection solutions and reaction solutions, and also has carcinogenic potential. Azo blue is a model organism for the study of oxidative processes. The redox potential of azo blue is relatively high, which leads to its use as an oxidant in wastewater treatment. In addition, it has been shown that azo blue can be used as an indicator of reactive species in surface methodology experiments.
