3-Chloro-2-methylaniline hydrochloride (3CMAH) is a synthetic chemical compound that has been shown to have environmental and industrial applications. The production of 3CMAH is achieved by reacting chlorine with an amine, usually trimethylamine chloride. 3CMAH can be used as a carbon source for the synthesis of other chemicals, including pharmaceuticals and dyes. It also has antagonistic properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit enzyme activity.
