Informazioni sul prodotto
1,3,5-Tris(4-biphenylyl)benzene (TPB) is a molecule with three phenyl rings that are connected to each other by two methine bridges. This molecule can exist in different conformations with different energies. TPB is used as a fluorescent probe for multilayer films and has been shown to be an effective blocker of the K+ ion channel that leads to the elucidation of ion channels in cells. TPB has also been shown to be able to transport chloride ions at temperatures up to 100°C and may be used in molecular devices or as a transducer.
