Descrizione

2-Nitrocumene is an organic solvent that is used in the manufacture of nitrocellulose. It is a liquid with a boiling point of 85°C and a density of 0.898 g/mL at 20°C. 2-Nitrocumene is also used for the production of various other aromatic compounds, such as naphthalene, cyclopropylamine, and chlorine. This chemical has been investigated for its use in bioproduction systems for amines.
