Informazioni sul prodotto
- Tert-Nitrosobutane Dimer
- Propane, 2-methyl-2-nitroso-, dimer
2-Methyl-2-nitrosopropane dimer is an organometallic compound that is used as a light-emitting substance in organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs). It is activated by ultraviolet radiation, and emits blue light when excited. 2-Methyl-2-nitrosopropane dimer can undergo transfer reactions, such as nucleophilic attack of the carbonyl group or radical formation. It also has a reactive sodium salt form that can react with water to produce an alkene and hydrogen gas. The chemical structure of 2-methyl-2-nitrosopropane dimer consists of a steric interaction between the two methyl groups and the nitroso group, which allows it to be activated by ultraviolet radiation.
