(−)-MDO-NPA hydrochloride is a chemical that has been used in animal studies to evaluate the effects of aporphine alkaloids. It has been shown to have a long-acting effect and can be administered orally or by injection. The drug is lipophilic and, therefore, accumulates in fatty tissues. (−)-MDO-NPA hydrochloride can be detected in plasma concentrations for up to 12 hours after administration. This compound is one of the more potent aporphine alkaloids and has been shown to increase locomotor activity in animals.
