Lancerin is a growth factor that is involved in cell metabolism and the regulation of IGF-I levels. It has been shown to stimulate the production of serine protease, which is a protein that is involved in a number of cellular processes including inflammation, cell growth, and apoptosis. Lancerin also has an inhibitory effect on cancer cells by stimulating the production of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and igf-i.
