Descrizione:
The compound is a potent and selective blocker of Kv1.3 potassium channels. It blocks the voltage-gated potassium currents in cell lines with high affinity and selectivity, while having no effect on other ion channels such as NaV1.2 or CaV2.3. The compound is a useful pharmacological tool for studying the function of Kv1.3 in various physiological processes, including the response to nerve injury or inflammation in vivo, and the effects of Kv1.3 mutations on channel function and disease progression in mouse models of inherited neurologic disorders.
