Informazioni sul prodotto
7-Iodoquinolin-8-ol is an anti-cancer agent that belongs to the class of clioquinol derivatives. It induces apoptosis in human osteosarcoma cells by binding to mitochondrial membrane potential, which leads to a decrease in ATP production and an increase in reactive oxygen species production. 7-Iodoquinolin-8-ol also induces cell signaling pathways by inhibiting hsp90, a molecular chaperone that maintains protein homeostasis and prevents protein aggregation. This compound has been shown to have significant cytotoxicity against Hl-60 cells at low doses and displays a good safety profile with no adverse effects on fetal bovine development.
