Informazioni sul prodotto
- Pyrimidine, 2-Phenyl-
- 2-PHENYLPYRIMIDINE
2-Phenylpyrimidine is a hypoglycemic agent that belongs to the group of coumarin derivatives. It has been shown to have an insulin-like effect on glucose metabolism, which is mediated by the binding of 2-phenylpyrimidine to response elements in the promoter region of insulin receptor genes. This drug also has anti-inflammatory activities and inhibits the production of proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and TNFα, which are associated with autoimmune diseases. 2-Phenylpyrimidine binds to ferroelectric material and exhibits ferroelectric properties. It also has an affinity for receptors, which can be measured using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS).
