Informazioni sul prodotto
- 2-Methylpyridin-1-Ium-1-Amine Iodide
- 1-Amino-2-Methyl Pyridine Iodide
1-Amino-2-methylpyridinium Iodide is a deaminating agent that can be used in organic synthesis as an acetylating agent. It is synthesized by the condensation of benzaldehyde and acetone followed by substitution with ethyl acetoacetate, which produces a pyridine ring. The substituents are then removed to produce 1-benzoylacetone and benzonitrile. This compound is then reacted with pyridine in the presence of a base to form 1-amino-2-methylpyridinium iodide.
