Sodium 3-Methylsalicylate is a form of salicylic acid, which is a type of phenolic acid. It is used in the treatment of cancer, as well as for septic and rheumatic fever, and other inflammatory conditions. It is also used as an introducing agent to magnesium and other metals. Sodium 3-Methylsalicylate has been shown to have antimicrobial properties and can act as a corrosion inhibitor. It also has been shown to be a potent growth factor for cells. This compound has a helical structure with modifications at the C3 position that are important for its function. The nanocarriers are able to deliver this drug without toxicity in vitro or in vivo because they protect it from degradation by enzymes in the body. Covid-19 pandemic evaluations showed that this drug was effective against the virus, but did not show any signs of toxicity or adverse effects on human cells.
