2,3-Dihydroxy-N,N,N-trimethylpropan-1-aminium chloride is a quaternary ammonium compound that has a high concentration of nitrogen. It is often used as an enhancer for the c1-c3 range of hair dyes. 2,3-Dihydroxy-N,N,N-trimethylpropan-1-aminium chloride can be used in cosmetics to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It is also used as an antiaging agent due to its ability to boost glycerin and polyols.
