1-Cyclopentene-1-carbonyl chloride (1CPC) is a synthetic, heterocyclic compound that is used as a sealant and adhesive in the biomedical field. 1CPC has been shown to have antiadhesive properties to various tissues, including skin, cartilage, and fascia.
