This chemical is also used in stereoselective oximination reactions, which are used for the synthesis of heterocycles. 4-(Benzyloxy)-3-chloroaniline is reactive and produces many functional groups, including chloride and hydrochloric acid. It can be used as a cellular growth inhibitor that has been shown to inhibit proliferation of cancer cells at high concentrations.
