Informazioni sul prodotto
TBCA is a chemical inhibitor that irreversibly inhibits the enzyme dihydrofolate reductase (DHFR). TBCA is used in vitro to inhibit DHFR and has been shown to be effective against cells from CD-1 mice. TBCA also binds to the viral life cycle and has been used to treat viral infections in women. TBCA is also used as a low potency drug for the treatment of metabolic disorders such as diabetes mellitus type 2, which may be due to its ability to inhibit cellular proliferation by blocking DNA synthesis. TBCA has been shown to cause weight loss in animals and humans, but it remains unclear how it achieves this effect. It may work by decreasing appetite or increasing energy expenditure.
