Artemicapin C is a natural compound with antioxidant activity. It is found in the rhizosphere of Artemisia annua L. and has been shown to have an anticoagulant effect, antiplatelet activity, and inhibitory effects on gsh-px activities. Artemicapin C also possesses antidiabetic effects and reduces the damage caused by oxidative stress to cells. Previous studies have shown that this compound can be used as a potential treatment for metabolic disorders, such as diabetes mellitus. The structure of artemicapin C was determined using gel chromatography and mass spectrometry methods.
