Informazioni sul prodotto
Ethyl 4-ethynylbenzoate is an organic compound that belongs to the group of retinoid esters. It is a constant oil with a hydrophobic character and a boiling point of 287 degrees Celsius. Ethyl 4-ethynylbenzoate has been shown to have antioxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation. This chemical also reacts in the presence of ZrO2 as a cocatalyst and undergoes photosensitized reactions, resulting in the formation of ethoxy acetophenones. Ethyl 4-ethynylbenzoate has been shown to produce luminescence after excitation at 254 nm, producing light with an emission maximum at 417 nm.
