Informazioni sul prodotto
6-Phenyl-1H-indazole is a pyridine derivative that has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro and in vivo. It induces apoptosis by binding to histone H3 and α-tubulin, which are proteins involved in the cell cycle. 6-Phenyl-1H-indazole also inhibits the expression of cyclin D1, CDK4, and CDK6, all of which are necessary for cell division. 6-Phenyl-1H-indazole also binds to DNA through hydrogen bonding interactions with cytosine residues in the DNA backbone. This binding prevents RNA polymerase from transcribing DNA into messenger RNA, leading to inhibition of protein synthesis.
