10α-Methoxy-1-methyl-9,10-dihydrolysergol is an organic compound that has a hydroxyl group at the 10 position and a methyl group at the 1 position. It is used in clinical trials to investigate the safety and efficacy of its use as a drug for infectious diseases, such as HIV, tuberculosis, and malaria. It has been shown to be effective in increasing epidermal growth factor (EGF) levels in mice. 10α-Methoxy-1-methyl-9,10-dihydrolysergol has also been shown to be effective against inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases, such as rheumatoid arthritis.
